Re-charge your retrospectives
Do you want solutions instead of complaining? Change instead of stagnation? A spirit of optimism in the team? In this practice-oriented training course, you will learn and experience how to conduct retrospectives in such a way that they can bring about lasting change.
Target group: ScrumMasters, team leaders, everyone who moderates meetings
What are retrospectives?
Translated, a retrospective is a review. Initially, it meant a review at the end of a project. Nowadays, however, this term usually refers to a regularly recurring event whose aim is to continuously improve the work of a team or organization – a topic that is probably helpful in any working environment.
The challenge
In practice, retrospectives are often popular stomping grounds for rambling conversations about failures, recriminations and the difficult conditions in the company that make success impossible. It is often challenging or even impossible for the facilitator to direct the participants towards ideas for improvement and finding solutions. This is precisely where this training comes in.
Who is the training for?
It is primarily intended for experienced Scrum Masters and meeting facilitators. In two days, you will learn all the skills you need to moderate retrospectives in a more goal- and results-oriented way right from the start. “Shaping instead of complaining” is the motto here. And a bit of fun should not be neglected either. Veronika and Ralph have developed the concept of solution-focused retrospectives based on their expertise in agile and solution-focused working. Each training session is unique because new ideas can always be incorporated.
The content
In addition to the five steps of solution-focused retrospectives and numerous tools for each step, this training course also focuses on dealing with challenging situations.
You will experience, plan and moderate interventions for different time horizons: from 15-minute retrospectives to all-day retrospectives, you will be ideally equipped for every format in future.
The training takes place for eight or more people. The number of participants is limited so that we can provide the best possible support for group work.
We are always happy to help you and your team and look forward to hearing from you!
